• Test early, test often and test on all available platforms.
• To compensate for user control of display features test to accommodate multiple fonts
• Inform the user of optimal settings.
• Transmission times necessitate the testing of access speeds if delivered via shockwave.
• Structure the program to consist of many small files rather than a few large ones
• Use only the rich media that will significantly enhance the project
