Interface: Empowering the audience
At this step, the interface controls
are designed. Each piece contributes to the final integrated
visual information design. The interface
is the link between the computer and the user. It should therefore
be easy to learn and easy to use. The two main ideas concerning
user interface design is to
- 1. Create a world in which the user
lives when using your site
- 2. Give users control over that world.
When it comes to the WWW environment,
the interface is ultimately driven by the capabilities of the
browser. Within the limitations of the browser, there is a world
of choice in how user can access your pages, however.
With multimedia, you are bound
only by the limitations of the hardware and your imagination.
