In real terms, the celebration would be centered around such free ongoing activities as face painting, paper marbling, banners, printmaking, day, puppet making, masks, jewelry making from found objects, easel art, sidewalk chalk (in a limited area), hatmaking, and other activities. Tables manned with volunteers would form sites for each of the activities. Other possibilities include limited workshops on creative movement, simple musical instrument making, storytelling (Biblical content), and musical and/ or dance performances throughout the day. We could even have a bilingual sing along.
