Another idea would be to have an art exhibit of the children's work on Sunday after church for the participating families. This would be voluntary. The child could have the option of entering his work or taking it home Saturday. The work would be left by the child, tagged and a small receipt could be given for later retrieval of the art, or we could deliver it personally to the families to get to know them better. Perhaps we should have awards of ribbons and/ or specially designed T shirts for best in show for participants of the exhibition to be delivered at that time. Since this is to be an outreach motivated event, individuals are to be sought and encouraged to make a commitment to set aside time during the event to pray for the proceedings. | |
