After praying through all these particulars, I have come up with what I think is an exciting, challenging and viable approach that will incorporate the most people possible into this event. First I would like to focus on the third component to be considered- the people this will reach.

3. Community- I envision the event to be a collaborative effort on the part of artists, volunteers and teachers from our church, and of course, the vital participation of neighborhood families. The general area between Ferguson and I-30 is populated by a diverse group of people, many of whom are unchurched and wary of anything Christian. Most young families are also in search of offerings in their community that require little or no financial cost. There are also well established, middle class families. With this in mind, I believe inclusivity should be the order of the day. I hope that this will be our first contact with many of the people who come. The event should be free to the public, and should be organized around day long activities and/ or mini workshops on our campus in the educational wing and out of doors on a portion of our parking facility as weather permits.
