That being said, I would like to outline some of my thoughts and findings based on my research of our resources, our people and our community. 1. Resources- First I tried to ascertain the viability of such an undertaking. The following questions were adressed: Do we have craftspeople in our midst? Are they willing to share their abilities and show their processes or would they rather only exhibit the final product? Should we have a sale? Do we have enough contributors to sustain a crafts fair? Do we have artists and teachers here? What other similar offerings are there already in existence in our community? What would be the viability of the time frame as proposed? Most importantly, which approaches would best realize the goals set forth?
