When I was asked to explore the viability of an arts and crafts festival, I first determined to seek the Lord in prayer. In any endeavor it is paramount to formulate goals, to seek possible options and to determine the resources available. I proceeded to speak to contacts who have experience in coordinating and facilitating a variety of such undertakings. I also spoke to professional craftsmen, a crafts store owner, and several Christians who are involved in the arts. This proposal is based on these conversations, and the prayer and thought that ensued. | |
