Jesus is the Final Word

Words may come and words may go

Words are nearly all we know

But of all of the sweet words that can be heard

Jesus is the Final Word.

Upon His more sure promise we will stand.

His teachings, all His sayings, His commands.

We will take them to the nations,

Words of judgment, words of consolation

So that every one might understand.

You have the Final Word

Blessed are those who have heard

All authority is conferred

For you are the Word that lives and moves

You are the Word that comes to prove

The Good News we confess will never fall

As we answer your call.

Jesus all youíve said is true

Lord you life and death has made us new

Lord your gospel truth we will receive

Your final Word we will believe.

You are the Final Word
