Tried and True

God is so great and we are so small,

We are broken people one and all

But we are restored and we are made new

When we trust in the One who is tried and true.

He is God Most High so we bow low

He has revealed all we should know

He brings His glory into view

So we trust in the One who is tried and true.

For every test that we may fail

There His grace and mercy shall prevail

We have become the chosen few

We who trust in the One who is tried and true.

Though our methods and our madness

Will take us off the path

Still we are filled with gladness

For we shall not bear Godís wrath.

God measures everyÝ vacant mile

He has traveledÝ through every trial

And He does what he said he would do

We trust in the One who is tried and true.
