Throne of Lovingkindness

To boldly come before your throne we dareÖ

And not just up in heaven, Lord, you reign everywhere

You grace us with your presence Lord this is our desire

To dwell with you in reverence, rest within your holy fire

You come to us so sweetly yet all you touch you change

You transform us completely until only Christ remains

The word you write within our heart-Renews our souls and minds

You give us light so we can seek and those who seek will find

We bring praises and glory and honor and power

To yield unto the Lord alone

Lovingkindness is a strong tower

Lovingkindness is found at your throne.

When we seek you we will find the way to come into your presence

There forever to dwell in righteousness and reverence

Your joy in us is made complete

When we approach your mercy seat

And all we ever hoped for, there we find.

For you are loving and kind

Your loving kindness

It rules as we confess

All our hopes and our schemes

Our most daring dreams

We trade now for your best

Your loving kindness rules

Over all your children and all of us fools

Those who abandon all to answer your call

For in abandonment we are blessed.
