Our Guide

As we wander this weary world

You will be our guide

We are not left without a clue

You will be our guide

If we turn our eyes to Jesus,

If we keep our eyes fixed on Him

He guides us as he frees us,

every heart that relies on Him.

We were aliens and strangers sojourning in this land

He will guide us past the dangers if we follow His command

Though we were weak and weary on our journey he'll defend

And deliver from the world so dark and dreary

Though we roam His home will be our end

What a glory, what a gift

We are grateful we are blessed

Every downcast heart you'll lift

The weary will find rest

With the lonely you'll abide

To the weak you will give strength

To the stranger you'll be a guide

You will take us home at length.
