Jacobís Stairway

You know there is a stairway
The angels can traverse

That leads fromÝ on high in the heavens

It reaches down to earth.

You know that distance is eternal

It transcends both time and space

Between the holy and the infernal

There is no resting place.

So climb the stairway

Climb if you dare

There is no other pathway

There is no other stair.

You know Jesus is the stairway

He alone can take you there.
