He will Be Satisfied
There was nothing in his appearance
That to Him we should be drawn.
And though he came as a King from on high
For love, He became as a pawn.
He was broken and bruised
But he never refused
To drink of the cup of God's wrath.
He lifted that cup
And drank it all up
And he walked to the end of His path.
Nothing short of slaughter
Nothing short of death
Like a lamb you gave up your dying breath
Nothing short of perfect
Nothing short of pure
Could provide an answer that will evermore endure
The result of His suffering He shall see
And he will be satisfied.
He will bear all of our iniquities
And many will be justified.
And He shall be satisfied
He shall be satisfied.
