Forgiveness
When you want to be forgiven
When you want to be clean to stand
Just know Forgiveness freely given
Awaits each needy hand.
Oh won't you feel the need
Of One who'll intercede
Oh be made right
Within God's sight
And be set free indeed!
No matter what you've said
No matter what you've done
A simple contrite cry of faith
He'll not turn away even one.
Dead and buried in the grave
Sealed within its darkened walls
The rock of ages came roaring out
Of the tomb as the angels shout
He our glorious King arose
In His glory all adorned
In victory over all dark foes
To his likeness now conformed
Now the heavens are our home
Soaring spirits shall arise
Flying where we've never known
Living where one never dies.
