Winners and Losers

If you really want toÝ win you have to learn to lose

If you want to gain your life to lay it downÝ now you must choose

For if your life you try to keep it will all be washed away

Now deep is calling unto deep hear what it has to say

If you would take up the cross and learn to truly die

Daily you must suffer loss to cry one holy cry.

And mourning turns to dancing since death has seen defeat

So fall down and be lifted up to sit at Jesus feet.

If you want to move ahead you have to learn to wait.

To see your character conformed to a wholly other state

Just know that you cannotÝ keep grace it rots when it is stored

Give it away, lose it today and give it back to the Lord.
