When the Lamb leads us home
When the lamb leads us into the fountain
There to drink and to live and to play
There'll be no climbing up on some holy mountain
For we'll dwell in the Lord all our days
Every tear shall be dried
Every fear will be eased
All the tears that you've cried
Ever more then shall cease.
In the fountain of life we will find sweet release
When the lamb leads us home by His light.
No more loss, no more pain
And there'll be no more death
Every why is explained by His Spirit's strong breath
Never lost in the dark for there'll be no night left
When the lamb leads us home by His light.
All our songs will be sung to heavenly chords
We will cast every crown we'll receive as rewards
And weíll dwell evermore in theÝ house of the Lord
When the Lamb leads us home by His light.
