The Romance of Faith
A joyous journey I would undertake
To the wildness of wonder I will awake
I will yield control to this spell that Iím under
And be lost in its awe and itís amazing wonder.
I will revel in righteousness, delight in its fruit
And purityís poetic passionate pursuit,
ForÝ pleasures beyond measure now are made plain
They beggar description and baffle my brain.
Iíll feast at the table and drink from the well
Rejoicing withÝ joy of my Treasure to tell
To live Life abundant, astonished, amazed
Set free indeed by the romance of faith!
The laughter of heaven is too loud to hear
So Iíll shout to this world and Iíll make it clear
How to live with abandon and awestruck delight
Making merry as I carry this radiant light.
May the mad mirth of heaven be my reality
To join with the heavenly hostís jubilee
For thereís no hesitation in heaven above
So Iíll exult in exalting the God that I love
Iíll marvel at the magic ofÝ mystery revealed
To the Life of divine frantic energy yield
In holy humility I will delight to dance
And revel inÝ the reign of faithís romance.
