Supernatural Shove
Of every dark thought a captive make
The old manís habits he shall break
And send them to the pit
What he has not given he shall take.
I need a supernatural shove
A tough enduring love
To move me out of a living rut
And set my mind on things above
I need a supernatural shove
A tough enduring love
To push and mold me till Iím conformed
To the one I am made in the image of.
What he has not sown he shall also reap
What he has not given you shall not keep
If we hold onto the thing he hates
Weíll be cast with it into the deep.
Lord move me and reprove me
In the mighty flow of life you prove me
For Iím far too easily satisfied
With the trappings of distractions and pride
So mine me and refine me
In the fires of holiness bind me
Restore to me the passion of my youth
Until I am forced to reckon with your truth.
I need a supernatural shove
A tough enduring love
To move me out of a living rut
And set my mind on things above
I need a supernatural shove
A tough enduring love
To push and mold me till Iím conformed
To the one I am made in the image of.
