Strong Refuge
When I am weary, heavy laden
I find no place to rest
He comes and I lay down my burdens
I find that I am blessed
He is a refuge and a rock of shelter
I hide myself in Him
In winterís cold or the summerís swelter
The weary days shall end.
I hide myself in my strong tower
I hide myself within His power
Hid with Christ in God our enemies fail
Our strong refuge shall forever prevail
When I'm oppressed and troubled
On Christ I cast my cares
He lifts me up from every pit
And my burden bears.
He is my rockÝ and deliverer
Who never turns me away
He is shelter from the storm
Now I declare and say
I hide myself in my strong tower
I hide myself within His power
Hid with Christ in God our enemies fail
Our strong refuge shall forever prevail
