Safe in my Fatherís arms.
Am I well content to tell myself when Iím weak I am made strong?
Yet I faint under discipline- donít know if Iíll last long.
But in my tears I turn to Father that I might share His holiness
Refined within his fiery gaze till Iím purged by righteousness.
I fall into my Fatherís arms
He holds me in the midst of harm
Where thereís not defense and no alarms
Safe in my Fatherís arms
I fall into my Fatherís arms
And heíll keep me safe and keep me warm
Abiding there safe from the storm
Safe in my Fatherís arms.
So though I may falter and I may failÝ and though I may fall
I will fear nothing but the lord who is my all in all
For he will be my keeper and he will be my guide
He will be my refuge and the rock in which I hide.
I fall into my Fatherís arms
He holds me in the midst of harm
Where thereís not defense and no alarms
Safe in my Fatherís arms
I fall into my Fatherís arms
And heíll keep me safe and keep me warm
Abiding there safe from the storm
Safe in my Fatherís arms.
