On the Altar

An offering of praise,

a gift of my thanksgiving

Now on the altar lays

In spirit and truth living

Itís not quantity but quality

That my Lord truly desires

Thereís on thing alone

That he would own

One thing that he requires.

A sacrifice of praise is a life well lived in Jesus

The worship that we raise is the freedom by which he frees us

For everything that we can give

Is a gift from Him alone

My all upon the altarís laid for the grace that I have known.
