Keep my eyes on Jesus

I'm gonna keep my eyes on Jesus on this journey

And with eyes of faith I'll seek him as my guide

In a dry and weary sunscorched land to him I'll flee

To take my refuge in HimÝ In Him I shall hide.

I'm gonna keep my eyes on Jesus through life's trials

For the world's no friend to show me where to go

But in Jesus I can find my way through all the miles

For he is a beacon and his word's a lamp that I might know

Keep my eyes on Jesus all my whole life through

Keep my eyes fixed on Him and my strength he shall renew

I'll see the path to victory is opened wide

The way to overcome is in following my guide.

I'm gonna keep my eyes on Jesus in these fallow fields

Never look back as my hand's put to the plow.

Surrounded by his favor like a mighty shield

I'll plow straight and deep and the world will wonder how.
