We have been named and we have been claimed.

By the Lord who reigns over the earth

We are made right to stand in the light

By His virtue we're raised to new birth

And we are sent as messengers

of the truth our sovereign gives

And by his power, by His Spirit

He lives and ever lives.

Oh Lord Jesus you inhabit our hearts

You Live in us and never depart

Your promise is sure and will keep till the end

You save us and call us your friends.

So we will take the message and we'll make it plain

By the word of our mouths and our lives we'll proclaim

What you've revealed you will keep to the end

Our maker and redeemer is also our friend
