Fit us For Heaven

This life is a moment in a tumultuous time

A rehearsal for heaven where we dress for the divine

By the time you learn to live it aright

If youíre blessed youíll have time to live with delight

Put off the old and put on the new

Dress like the person Godís making you into.

In robes of the righteous, garments of praise

Clothed in the radiance glory displays.

Fit us for heaven ready to be shown

Fit to be seen at you glorious throne

As we present ourselves as righteous ones

To be used of God and to hear ëWell doneî

Put to death the old manís wickedÝ ways

And put on the new man who glory displays

Look to the cross where your sin breathed its last

For crucified with Christ He will conquer our past!
