Amazing Pity, mercy divine

It your and itís mine and itís free.

Amazing pity mercy sweet

Is found at Jesusí feet.

As we bow there,Ý our sins we declare

He is righteous and just to forgive

A his footstool we become loveís fools

And weíre cleansed and made pure when he meets us there

So we shall live, yes we shall live!

Amazing pity grace unknown

Restores our hearts when we come

As we bow down our life is found

In this place where we are undone.

Cleansed from all unrighteousness

Cleansed, His holy name we confess

To stand without fault in this place

As we stand in His marvelous grace.

Amazing pity Mercyís cup

Is poured out when Heís lifted up

Amazing pity we receive

When Jesus allows us to believe.
