A promise is a promise when it comes from one who cannot lie

We have the word of God Himself- the living word that never dies.

God gave His word-You can hear it ringing new and fresh

An eternal covenant- the word of God has become flesh!

God the Son has promised to stand within our midst

Father God has sealed this truth in the Word that He has spoken

Holy Spirit promises to abide with us forever

This three fold cord of promise shall never more be broken!

By your word all was created, by your word all is sustained

And alolthings hold together- your word forever remains!

Your word was the beginning-a promise and a light

Unchangeable, unchanging- forever true and right
