The Living Word was spoken in Him without a flaw
The Living Stone was broken like Moses's tables of law
The Living Bread has hungered the Living Wine knew thirst
The Living Vine was cut off from the One He loved from the first.
The wounded lamb has stood up to rule forevermore
The Wounded Hands still proclaim and show the cost He bore
The Wounded Brow's now glowing-with radiance is crowned
His Wounded side now flowing to all His Love has found!
