The Judgment

If you imagine that God can forgive as simply as we forgive

You've not considered the seriousnes of your sin!

If you imagine that God can forget as simply as we forget

Consider the holiness of God and the depravity of men!

For we are equally defiled but God is holy and Pure

We are hell deserving sinners who in the end can be sure

That every knee must bow before the throne

With our advocate or standing all alone!

For we who are in Christ are forgiven

The grace of God cleanses our sin

Though we were naked before the Lord

He clothes us in His righeousness!

We can live with Him in harmony and holiness

When the ancient of days calls on the Son of Man

There will be no time for decisions and plans

He will judge the world with authority

By His sovereign power, to His glory!

We will have nothing to fear

If Jesus alone i s our plea

For god will have cast our sins

Into the deepest sea!
