Take It Personally

God has a desire to open His heart

Freely to you so you can take part

In personal fellowship with your loving Lord

In perfect communion and in one accord

But we have a problem because of our sin

For our God is perfect, there's no darkness in Him!

And so by His nature he drives out the dark

That lurks within every part of our heart.

Self improvement can never replace

Our record of sin we cannot erase

For all of your knowledge you will never see

Until you take it personally!

We have a problem and god has a plan

To sin's overpowering hold on each man

The word of the Lord was once for all spoken

That the power of sin would be toally broken

God the Father sent God the Son

To become a man and to become the ONE

More than an example- this last sacrifice

He gave up His life to pay sin's awful price

He took our guilt and the barrier we built

Anf gave a new heart, a new start.

Forgiveness and life for eternity

But you must take it personally!
