What shakes you hard is most likely what you hate to face

But what you need most can be seen in the light of His grace

Hearts are melted in the light of His grace!

When pride swells up inside and you ratiuonalize

That what you are doing is alright

And for self you decide though you realize

That you've already lost the fight

You don't have the right To justify self-

Only God can do that-And nobody else-

So you slough off conviction- Ad you think you're so smart

God will hand you over to the will of your hard heart!

You may get your way you may even think God hears you pray

But it won't soothe the pain- the anger remains

Until you're seared by the light of His grace
