The Brow that once was Crowned

The brow that once was crowned with thorns now wears a crown of light

The eyes that once were closed in death burn now forever bright

The face that once was battered now glows with glory's rays

The bones that were never shattered never saw the grave's decay!

The hands that were pierced deeply now hold Heaven's ruling rod

The side that once flowed freely now is at the Right hand of God

For Christ is not still on some cross nor in some barren tomb

Resurrected and ascended He live within His chosen few!

Returned now to His glory- His Spirit dwells within

To empower, comfort and protect those who've been raised with Him

For the heart that once ceased beating now beats within our breast

We are His earthly body so we are forever blessed!
