Servant Song

I trade my desires to sit at your feet
Teach me as I listen to your Spirit's call.
Tender mercies, compassions sweet
Train my heart and mind to give you my all.

A slave to your salvation,
A servant of your song.
A bondsman to your beauty
Lord make your servant strong!
You pierce my ear unto the post
And yet you call me friend!
I pray that I might bring you pleasure
And serve you till the end!

Purify my purpose, Deliver my desires.
Sanctify my spirit in your burning, holy fires
Change me and renew me as I wait on you
So when I rise I will be called faithful and true.
A slave to your salvation,
A servant of your song.
A bondsman to your beauty
Lord make your servant strong!
You pierce my ear unto the post
And yet you call me friend!
I pray that I might bring you pleasure
And serve you till the end!

Lord

I'll praise you with my wondering mind
Though memory may fail
And if I lose my power to think
My anchor holds beyond the vale.
I'll praise you with my renewed strength
On Your strength I'll wait and see
For power is perfected Lord
In those that are weak.
Lord of my strength and Lord of my mind
All that I need in You I shall find.
Lord of my heart, Lord of my soul,
Renew me under your sweet control!
I'll praise you with my dancing heart
Though I can hardly move
The rhythms of your righteous love
My every step shall prove!
I'll praise you with my singing soul
When my voice I cannot raise
For though I lose my power to speak
I still can give you praise!
Lord of my strength and lord of my mind
All that I need in You I shall find.
Lord of my heart, Lord of my soul,
Renew me under your sweet control!

The Rock that Never Moves

Lord, I beseech you, be my guide
And I will hope in all my ways
For in your strength I shall confide
So bear me through these evil days
For he who trusts in God shall prove
God is the Rock that never moves
For he who trusts in God shall prove
God is the Rock that never moves

Anxiety cannot avail
More than a moan or sigh
But in Your wisdom we prevail
Although the daylight flies.
For he who trusts in God shall prove
God is the Rock that never moves
For he who trusts in God shall prove
God is the Rock that never moves

I'll be still and on the Rock I'll wait
My hopeful heart content,
I'll not trust in luck or fate.
But I'll pleasure in what's heaven sent
For all our innmost wants are known
By Him who chose us for His own.
And he who trusts in God shall prove
God is the Rock that never moves
