June 26, 2006 A new week

Earnie and I led worship at GracePointe this Sunday. After being out of commission on the P&W front, we had a couple of minor glitches, but no one noticed much. Practice makes perfct and things are becoming a bit less stressful as we have sensed the Holy Spirit working. Earnie and I sang Be Still My Soul, and Neil and Elaine joined us as we led the congregation in Open the Eyes of My Heart, You Are My All In All, I Need Thee Every Hour, and All for Jesus. It is amazing that most of the songs are over ten years old- time sure flies when you are singing to the Lord.

I got to spend some time talking to a childhood friend, Blake Stamper who is back from entertaining the troops in Iraq.
