Songs from the Road: I -65 again, on the way to Louisville

There is None like You

You came to earth- came in a virgin birth
Came to a place that was long ago prophesied
Wise men bowed down to a baby in Bethlehem town,
So God is With Us, now evermore to abide!

There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!
You are the Worthy one, Worthy to be adored!
There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!
Faithful and true in all that you do
There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!

You came to live your heart and soul to give
To do the will of the Father all of your days
Freely obeyed, to live in this world you made
Came to lay down all your glory and honor and praise!

There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!
You are the Worthy one, Worthy to be adored!
There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!
Faithful and true in all that you do
There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!

You came and died, were willingly crucified
Laid down your life that the sad weary world might be saved.
You suffered loss, chose to endure the cross
That highway of holiness that runs through death you have paved.

There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!
You are the Worthy one, Worthy to be adored!
There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!
Faithful and true in all that you do
There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!

You rose again, victor o'er death and sin
Did what you said you would do, it should be no surprise.
When you arose, conquering all God's foes
You gained the victory so we have gained heaven's prize.

There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!
You are the Worthy one, Worthy to be adored!
There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!
Faithful and true in all that you do
There is none like, there is none like You, Lord!

Courts of Righteousness

We would dwell in your courts fore're
And by your Word we would dare
To cast on You our every care
Where we'll soon cast our crowns
At your feet where all flesh shall bow.
We will cast all our worries now
Till the day when no mourning will you allow
We will lay it all down.

For in the courts of Righteousness
We'll praise your name and we'll be blessed
As Your grace we learn to possess
In it's depths and in its heights
All the hope of the heavenlies
As the river of rest He frees
Our Father is forever pleased
To make faith into sight

He's concerned for our every care
He is pleased to hear each prayer
If we come to Him he'll meet us there
If On Him we will call!
He who gave His only Son
So the victory could be won
Won't deny any need, no not one
He has given it all.

For in the courts of Righteousness
We'll praise your name and we'll be blessed
As Your grace we learn to possess
In it's depths and in its heights
All the hope of the heavenlies
As the river of rest He frees
Our Father is forever pleased
To make faith into sight

I Want to Learn to Fly

I want to go to heaven
I want to learn to fly
To soar here in the here and now
Not waiting till I die
I want to soar with Jesus
To glide on eagle's wings
To fly beyond the mountaintops
On the Spirit wind he brings

I want to fly and spread those wings
To cast my eye on heavenly things
Drawing closer to heaven as I rise
I want to learn to fly.
To bid the ground goodbye
And to catch that course the Holy Spirit flies
Lord teach me now to fly, I want to learn to fly!

Lord, open my windows, open my cage
Set me free from this spirit of this age
And I'll soar with You, evermore with You
On the wondrous wings that only you supply
Lord teach me now to fly.
There are many wonders, many sights,
That I can't see, for I am blind
But as I soar by eyes can see
The horizons of eternity!

I want to go to heaven
I want to learn to fly
To soar here in the here and now
Not waiting till I die
I want to soar with Jesus
To glide on eagle's wings
To fly beyond the mountaintops
On the Spirit wind he brings

At Your Table

At Your table Lord there we drink and eat
At Your table sinners have a seat
At your table Lord we can eat our fill.
Weary pilgrims who will seek your will.

At Your table, we are able
To come and dine with You
We will come and sup and drink Your cup
And eat your bread until we are filled up.

In this weary land, we'll no longer stand
But will sit and eat the meal made by tour hand
Yes, we'll come inside and with You we will abide
Our hunger and our thirst you have supplied

At your table Lord we remember all You've done
And we raise a toast to the honor of God's son
At your Table we will evermore abide
At your table we are able to abide

Strong Message

We have a strong message, a message of hope and faith
We have a strong message, we'll tell it with every breath.
So hear now the message, we pray it will be made plain
We'll declare the message of hope again and again!

There is no condemnation for those who are placed in Christ
Your only salvation the only work that could ever suffice
Is now freely given, Hope of Heaven, Eternal Life!
So cone and believe and cone and receive the Lord Jesus Christ!

We have a strong message of Heaven and righteousness
So embrace the message, your hope and your trust express
Than go tell the message so others can be made blessed
Yes tell the strong message, the message of hope
Found in God's Holy Lamb
Go tell the message of hope in the Great I Am!

Candle in the Wind

Like a Candle in the wind, I can set ablaze this world I'm in
I can light the darkness in this den Or I can be blown away
Lord my spirit now ignite That I may shine clear and shine out bright
For in the darkness shines a light that can turn the night to day

Like a candle in the wind,
Though my light may flicker and grown dim
By the Spirit's Fire my flame grows higher and higher
And I may glow brightly again
For it is your aim that this holy flame
Shall shine like a city on a hill
In your holy light blind men find new sight
And their hearts shall blaze to do your will
Lord our hearts all blaze to do your will.

Lord your holy fire burns as our desire
To light up the world with all its glow
Place your fire inside and we'll never hide
The bushel we'll remove so it will show.

All Our Hopes and Dreams

Turn each lust to passion for You Lord
Turn each covetous care to Your pursuit
Turn each murderous thought
To compassion you have wrought.
Turn each lying tongue to tell Your truth.

All our other gods must be broken by Your rod
And our idols all must be destroyed
We seek you first, last for only You we'll thirst
Cast off all the fallen things we have enjoyed
Until heart and mind, soul and strength shall find
Their fulfillment in the One who's true.
There's no substitute, there's One Holy Pursuit
All our hopes and dreams we'll find in You
All our hopes and dreams not what the world esteems
All our hopes and dreams we'll find in You
