1. Primarily, this event should be to the glory and honor of our Lord. I envision an approach that will be centered in communicating the proposition that the reason we are creative is because we have a Great Creator. This should be the visible and vocal theme. I believe the title "Creation Celebration" would be a good description of what we hope to accomplish. Art and aesthetic experience is built into us as created children of a God who loves beauty and discovery. In this sense this will be an alternative to some of the more secular offerings by the arts community. | |
