Taylor BTO #4040 GSce

(see original BTO spec sheet below)

Taylor BTO "Built to Order" custom Grand Symphony. Designed by Bob Willcutt.

Purchased at Willcutt Guitars, Lexington, KY in 2019, registered with Taylor under my name. This is a one-of-a-kind instrument and it plays that way as well- something undefineably nice about it. Maybe the exquisite bearclaw/Madagascar combination?

Beyond the Madagascar Rosewood back and sides with a Premium Bearclaw Sitka spruce top, the ebony fretboard and bridge are the blackest ebony possible. The woods for the guitar were hand picked and spec'd by the Willcutt staff.

This one is in pristine condition. It has a powerful voice as one might expect from a Grand Symphony body. The appointments are understated and the tonewoods are prevalent in the design. It has the original Taylor Expresion System on board. Also comes with the special alligator GS case that were designed for these.
