Description Martin HD-28 Natural Centennial Serial #
1989171 from 2016 The Martin HD-28 dreadnought acoustic guitar boasts the same basic design that made the D-28 a classic — but with herringbone top trim and a return to Martin's time-tested scalloped X-bracing for added resonance, as all D28's before the mid-40's had. Used in all styles of music, the HD-28 offers the deep bass response that's made Martin dreadnoughts so popular. It also has a high-end presence that sings out even in heavy instrumentation and a bass end that rings out loud. The Martin HD-28 is both loud and subtle and has a quick response with excellent note definition.
This one has had little public play time as evidenced in the near mint condition. It has essentially been a couch guitar. It has been stored in a humidity controlled environment since I have had it. One notable feature in my opinion is how the smell of the rosewood is so powerfully pleasant.
